Group Therapy
Motherhood can feel surprisingly isolating. When things don't unfold the way you expected, it's easy to wonder if everyone else is adjusting more easily or if you're the only one feeling this way.
Group therapy offers a sense of community during life's more difficult moments. Hearing someone put words to a feeling you've been quietly carrying can shift the way you see your own experiences, allowing you to meet yourself with less judgment, greater compassion, and deeper understanding.
At The Nest, our therapy groups provide a warm, supportive space where honest conversation, shared experiences, and meaningful relationships create opportunities for healing and growth.
Group therapy may be a good fit if you're feeling isolated, looking for support, or hoping to connect with others navigating similar experiences.
We know joining a group can feel uncomfortable or intimidating. Our groups offer a warm, welcoming environment where you can participate in whatever way feels right for you. You're never expected to share more than you’re comfortable with, and many participants begin by simply listening before joining the conversation when they're ready.
With your therapist's guidance and the support of the group, you'll gain practical tools, fresh perspective, and a deeper understanding of yourself.

If you're interested in a future group, we'd love to hear from you. Contact us to learn more or to be added to our interest list for updates on upcoming groups and offerings.
What to expect
Sessions are 60 minutes and may be offered in person or via telehealth.
Our groups are intentionally kept small, with 4–6 participants, to create a warm, supportive space where meaningful connections can grow. Each session includes a blend of education, practical skill-building, and guided discussion. You're welcome to participate in whatever way feels most comfortable to you, and there is never any pressure to share more than you'd like. To help create a safe space for everyone, we ask all participants to respect one another's privacy and maintain confidentiality.
